Today’s Senior Shoutout goes to Noah Maris!

Maris is double majoring in education & social transformation as well as economics. Maris joined during Fall of 2022 and served as a social chair in 2023. Throughout his UCLA career, Maris was a part of PAC (Pediatric AIDS Coalition) as well a student volunteer teacher at the UCLA Lab School. After graduating, Maris will attend USC to receive a masters degree in Education and a Teaching Credential in Social Sciences.

When asked “How has Theta Chi changed your college experience”, he answered:

“At the start of my sophomore year, I rushed on a whim. I never thought greek life would be for me, but Theta Chi quickly disproved my notions of what a ‘fraternity’ was. From the moment I stepped through the front door of 663 Gayley, I met the kindest, most welcoming, and most interesting people I’ve ever had the privilege of knowing. In the last 3 years, I’ve truly found my home and my people at UCLA and I will be forever grateful. From the retreats and the concerts and the events to the seemingly inane meaningless moments sitting on the roof or in bearhaus or sideyard, I will cherish every moment I’ve had with my brotherhood.

My only hope is that the NM/JG/RS social chair reign will forever be remembered as the most turbulent and eclectic period in recent Beta Alpha history. L+R and may Apartment 204 rest in peace <3”
